We are excited to be hosting our first WVC matches in almost two years! Both the men and women start their seasons tomorrow. Sorry for the late posting, we are a bit out of practice and working on a new website. We normally will have the playdate schedules posted earlier in the week. | WVC Season Cancelled |
01/25/21 -
First of all, we'd like to thank team representatives for completing our surveys and providing the data needed to make a decision regarding the 2021 WVC season. We appreciate your patience as we waited as long as possible to determine if a regular season and championships event would be possible this year. Our Advisory Committee members have been collaborating with the NCVF, and working to follow their lead during the decision making process. As team reps are aware, the NCVF created a survey for all teams to update their team status, which included whether teams could practice, compete, host, and travel. Based on the last NCVF update as well as our survey results, only a small percentage of WVC teams could travel to compete in events or host events, which does not deviate from the rest of the conferences across the country.
Despite the hopes for widespread vaccine distribution, the health risks remain high for a significant portion of the population. This, along with the lack of facilities for events, the inability of teams to travel, compromised timelines for organizing and planning schedules, and potential legal liabilities associated with operating events during the pandemic, makes WVC competition unrealistic for this season. Based on these factors, the WVC Advisory Committee has made the decision to cancel the 2021 WVC season.
This decision was a difficult one, but there isn't a path toward a successful 2021 season. We can't express our disappointment for all of our players, especially our seniors who will essentially miss their final two WVC seasons. It's hard to believe that after the momentum built at the 2019 Leadership Summit we're still in this unthinkable pandemic. It's heartbreaking to write this announcement knowing how much time and effort you've dedicated to maintain your program and ensure the health and safety of your teammates. We can't thank you enough for your work, and understand what a difficult position you've been placed in this year.
Our hope is to stay connected "virtually" with our team leaders this winter/spring. Look for a zoom invitation for a February team leaders meeting as we look forward to resuming activities in the Fall.

| Midwest D2 Invitational |
02/15/18 - The first annual Midwest D2 Invitational is being held at the Milwaukee Sting Center in Menomonee Falls, WI on February 17-18, 2018. The tournament offers an opportunity for NCVF Divison II teams to compete with other Division II schools outside their own conferences. Eight WVC teams will participate along side other Midwestern teams from the MWPVC, NIVAC and MIVA conferences. The tournament boasts 11 ranked teams and includes 5 of the top 10 teams.
